Hi and welcome to Family and Friends!
My name is Andrea and I run the domain freddi.me – Family and Friends.
My parents Giorgio and Gianna immigrated from Trieste to Switzerland in 1966, where I was born in Winterthur in 1967. I have two younger siblings, my brother Dario and my sister Paola, I am married with Leo and I like to travel, where I always meet new and interesting people.
On my travels, I’m more likely to be found at a local snack bar than in a restaurant, and I prefer small, family-run establishments to large resorts.
Why Family and Friends?
Due to digitalization one “shoots” more photos … My parents have meanwhile returned to Italy and live in Muggia, a town near Trieste … My wife’s relatives live in and around Coburg and are therefore at home in Germany … we had the pleasure of meeting some of our friends while traveling and they are also at home abroad …
Traveling widens the horizon, but also gives you time to pause and reflect. Therefore, during my travels, the idea for the Family and Friends project slowly matured. A platform to share our vacation and travel experiences and present them to our loved ones at home.

After accepting an interesting job offer in 2020, I moved to Mataró and now work where others enjoy their vacations – sorry Frank 😉
